  "After reading the previous INCOGNITO book - CONQUERING CONNIE - I formed opinions about Penny which couldn’t have been more wrong. She’s a bright, caring young woman with a shocking background. As I read her story, I was captivated by her bravery and love how Blake and Joseph never waver from their devotion for her - even when her past comes back to terrorize her. While Penny’s life story is awe inspiring, I couldn’t help but notice Blake and Joseph’s vulnerability to her despite their Alpha tendencies. They’re as fearful of being hurt by her as she is of their reaction to her past.

  Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton definitely don’t disappoint fans of their INCOGNITO series with their latest offering - PURSUING PENELOPE. It’s full of all the charismatic characters we’ve come to know and love through the previous stories and added an intensely passionate tale that engages readers emotions. This is a wonderful addition to an already beloved series. If you haven’t read any of the INCOGNITO series yet, I highly recommend them all - but I’m afraid PURSUING PENELOPE has taken top honors as my personal favorite so far." ~ Chrissy

  I have to say that I wasn’t sure about a story for Penelope after reading of her in the earlier books. However, the history that Ms. Layle and Ms. Keaton create for Penelope do more than explain her previous behavior; it cements her place as a woman that readers will care about as much as Joe and Blake do. Combine that history with the current threat that has surfaced from her past, and readers will find themselves ensconced firmly on Penelope’s side.

  Of course, where would an INCOGNITO story be without the sexual intensity to match the emotional impact? PURSUING PENELOPE definitely has both in equal measure. The love scenes are plentiful, with ‘love’ being the operative word. While decidedly erotic in nature, given the ménage and BDSM themes, the way these characters feel for each other is never anything less than romantic." ~ Jennifer

  "In PURSUING PENELOPE, our heroine isn’t a member of the club, therefore, she doesn’t have a clue to the goings on inside. She’s got assumptions, accusations, but when all is said and done…she knows nothing. Thank goodness Joseph and Blake are ready, willing, and able to teach her all she needs to know and more. [...]These three have a hard road ahead of them, especially when Penelope’s past comes back to haunt her. It’s a real interesting story but I’m not gonna tell it, because I think it would give away a part of the story. Sex between them is hot, sweaty, arousing, fun, and absolutely naughty. Oh to be the woman between these two hunks. *sigh*

  Secondary characters include those from previous Incognito books, but the story mainly revolves around Blake, Joseph, Penelope and their developing relationship.
